About the role

As HR Business Partner, you act as a trusted partner to managers and employees. You translate HR strategy into concrete initiatives, guide leaders in managing their teams, and contribute to organizational development. You will also play a key role in change projects, ensuring smooth transitions and employee engagement.

What the Key Tasks Look Like

  • You will partner with the Head of HR and HR-colleagues to implement the HR strategy across the business.
  • The HR BP understands business needs and challenges and translates them into actionable HR initiatives.
  • You support and advise managers on performance cycles, development plans, remuneration processes, training and personal development, absence management and conflict resolution.
  • You collaborate with our Talent Partners and fellow HR Business Partner to foster internal mobility and talent development.
  • You guide managers and employees during organizational change projects.
  • You will provide support in contacts with social partners, helping to prepare works council meetings when relevant and offer advice in individual employee requests.
  • You contribute actively to HR projects that improve processes, employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

Required Skills and Competences

  • You obtained a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or equivalent by experience.
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner role with exposure to social partners. Experience within the financial or insurance industry and talent development is a plus.
  • You have a strong knowledge of HR processes and the Belgian labor legislation.
  • You are fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels of the organization.
  • You are proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented, with a growth mindset.

Want to grow with us?

At DKV we offer you a varied job with growth opportunities (thanks to training, coaching, growth projects, and internal mobility) and all this at a prime location in the heart of Brussels.

Besides a competitive gross salary, we offer an extensive standard package of extra-legal benefits such as:

  • insurance package (hospitalization, ambulatory insurance, guaranteed income insurance, pension plan)
  • a year-end premium, collective company premium, and individual bonus
  • flex reward-plan
  • meal and eco vouchers
  • internet and homeworking allowance

Moreover, you can count on an attractive leave scheme (up to 34 days), flexible working hours, and the possibility to work from home up to three days a week. This way of hybrid working guarantees you a good balance between work and your private life.

We are an equal-opportunity employer. All aspects of employment are based solely on performance, competence, conduct, or business needs. If you require any support or access requirements, we encourage you to advise us at the time of your application so that we can make any reasonable adjustments needed to support you through your recruitment journey.
